  I've lived in Madison since infancy, but the first meal I ever ate here was at Monty's. I grew up down just around the corner, and used to go every Sunday for breakfast. The staff would see us coming and have the bagel and cream cheese that I always wanted ready by the time we sat down. At the age of 4, I asked for a job application. I never did work there, but I still stop in for any meal when the opportunity presents itself. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food is good, and the prices reasonable. Especially good for breakfast or brunch.

  This place was overall absolutely incredible! The server was friendly and efficient, the coffee didn't get a chance to empty before being refilled with fresh, hot coffee, and the atmosphere was absolutely charming and enchanting. I took my grandmother here - she was humming along to the music and she loved the food as well! My only little thing was that the cooks did not own up to putting sour cream and cheddar cheese in my burrito - this, of course, is not to say the food wasn't fantastic. I just politely asked for them to remake it anyhow, and my server gladly had them remade. Overall, 5 out of t, I definitely recommend it.
